How Is My Privacy Protected?

Access East Certified Marketplace Navigators place a high value on protecting personal information (name, address, phone number, Social Security number, etc.) that could be used on its own, or with other information, to identify, contact, or locate an individual. We’ve implemented strict privacy practices to ensure your personally identifiable information is used only for its intended purpose.

At the beginning of your appointment with a Certified Marketplace Navigator, you will be asked to fill out, and sign, a consent form that explains the duties of a Navigator; this form includes your name, phone number, and email address (if available). Your consent form will then be maintained in a secure location for seven years, as required by law. No other personally identifiable information will be kept by your Navigator without your express consent.
